Terry – While people DO it, Mixcloud’s policies actually forbid individual tracks, and people won’t be able to download the edits to use themselves.
Antoine – Soundcloud is probably the go-to place for that, although it is important to always bear in mind that your edits and remixes are copyright violations, so there is a chance that your tracks will get a takedown order if your edit is of a big track. I post my remixes on Soundcloud, and haven’t had any takedowns yet, but my remixes don’t resemble the original track very much, so that probably contributes to it. A straight up edit tends to be a lot closer to the original track, so is more likely to get a takedown order.
