Well, while I doubt this site is the best place to find venues to play in Canada (or elsewhere for that matter), getting support is certainly possible here. As is getting some peer reactions on stuff you do. So be sure to post any mixes or tracks in the Mixes, Music & Shows forum.

If you don’t already have it, you should set up a presence on Mixcloud and post some of your mixes there.

There’s a section on the site here for posting links to your mixes, however don’t expect an outpouring of constructive criticism – you’ll maybe get a comment or two. I personally do listen to a lot of the mixes that get posted there, but only the ones from folks who actually participate in the forum.
