Controller and DVS question

Yes there are some controllers that can do this, however with Traktor that selection is pretty much limited to the Traktor Control S4.

With Serato you have several options, for example if you want all in one: Pioneer DDJ-SX2
If you want compact and small, but without jogs the new Akai controllers come to mind.
If you want mobile with DVS, the Denon MC6000 Mk II can do it.

If your read the OP correctly (and Terry’s answer), he wants to know if there is a CONTROLLER that he can use solo with Traktor for smaller gigs and then hook up TTs to and use as DVS setup.

Terry is right in that there are hardly any controllers left that are both Traktor certified AND support DVS in the controller.
Of course you can make any controller that has line inputs work with DVS by adding a Traktor certified external soundcard, but that is not what the question was. Even then, the way technology stands today, it’s still your best bet to get Native Instruments controllers when you want to use Traktor as the integration (especially jogwheel) is better than with third party controllers.

Also, but I am not sure, I believe that you get the full version of Traktor Scratch with a new S4. So he can indeed toss his old duo software and trade up.
