Well, the pitchfader issues can usually be changed in the DJ software. You can normally set various ranges like 4, 6, 8, 10, 16, 32, 100% (Mixvibes Cross, not sure what the exact number are for Serator/VDJ/Traktor, but something similar).
That gives you a lot more options than CDJs would, btw. Those have only 3 or 4 ranges if memory serves me right.
I can see how you have outgrown your MTP2, it’s a beginners controller after all. I could do a pro gig with it, if need be, but I wouldn’t pick it as my primary tool. But with a 1000GBP budget you should be able to get yourself something much more serious (say DDJ-SX, MC6000mk2, Terminal Mix 8 as has been suggested already) that will help you make a big step in your DJ-ing.
If you are set on club-ready gear, there is not much we can tell you. It’s either new Pioneer stuff (2x CDJ-2000nexus with DJM900nexus) which at over 5.000 is not gonna fit in your budget regardless of the shoehorn you use or used Pioneer gear which, if you want RekordBox-ready gear is still gonna be at least twice the budget you mentioned. Any non-Pioneer gear is not RekordBox compatible, so of no use (not to mention the quality will be a LOT less than the Pioneers, like budget gear).
And that’s without a set of speakers.
As the pressure doesn’t seem to be too high, people answered your post late October and you never reacted til now, and since bumping a post is against forum rules, I am gonna close this topic now.
