ModeratorI am guessing the voucher is one time only. When your friend activated his voucher I think he should have gotten a SERIAL NUMBER which would have been visible in his Serato account. He then should have given you the serial number, then deactived and uninstalled the software.
You could then make your own account, go to add products, select Serato DJ, enter the serial number and press add.
Then you could download and install Serato and enter your account details. Serato would check against your account, find a valid serial number and off you go.
Sounds like something that only Serato can fix for you.
This is my take on it, but I am relatively fresh to the Serato licensing proces.

ModeratorCorrect Rizki, but that is for 1 (ONE) account holder. In this case the account holder is changing, so the serial number has to be transferred to the new account holder. If I am right this is done from within the My Serato web page where you can add products by entering your serial number. The only problem I see here is that the old account is closed and I am not sure how they can retrieve the serial number since Serato is already de-installed as well.
So, I would think that Serato customer support are the ones to rectify this.

KeymasterIndeed cancelling his account was a mistake. He would have had to file a license transfer to you with support in order to get the stone rolling.
Now all you can do is wait and check if they can get his serial back to you.The voucher is always one time only, the thing you need then is as Vintage said the serial number.

ModeratorOk, if I am correct this is the procedure to follow:
1) YOU create a Serato account
2) Through your profile, option Serato products you ADD product (by entering serial number)
3) Download Serato and install
4) Open Serato
5) Serato should open with the “online” panel on the right
6) Enter your account details here (username/password)
7) Serato should now be registered and working (you can click on the word online below the panel to make it disappear when you are done)Hope that helps

KeymasterOK your friend needs to do: Start up Serato DJ on the computer he used to DJ with. Go to the “product options” in setup.
Then login to his active Serato Account within Serato DJ.
Then de-activate all Serato Products including Serato DJ itself.
Close Serato DJ.
Login to the webpage and his profile -> Products.
Click show Serial Numbers and note all serials.Then you open Serato DJ on your new computer. Log into your Serato Account by pressing “activate Serato DJ” and enter the serial number you got.
If this does not work, then only Serato Support can help you.

ParticipantThere is not box/space/frame (or how to call it) when I can insert my serial number. In fact the serial number is pretty useless because I cant use it, or I dont know how/where.
So.. The Serato support is only way how to help me. I’ve wroten 3mails, tried to post on forum 2times, poseted private message 2weeks ago and still without any response…
