Has anyone read β€œThe complete 21st Century Wedding DJ” eBook promoted by Digital DJ Tips?

    Yep

Is is available to MEMBERS without having to pay the $47?

    Not that I know of

    Is it worthwhile?

I’d say it’s the best 50 bucks you can spend as an (aspiring) wedding DJ

Are you aware of any other resources that we should look at?

No, but that doesn’t mean there arent’t I suppose. This course answered all the questions I had and a few I didn’t know I had, so I never looked any further.

Thx for the info. Appreciate your feedback. Unfortunately they’re selling it now for $97 on Digital DJ… Will have to see if I can find it for a better price somewhere else!

Phil has to keep the lights on, and have the means to create more content.

$50 or $100…the classes are an amazing tool for those needing to learn the aspects of this business. Well worth the money.

Can you imagine if someone asked you to play for 1/2 or 1/4 of what you ask for in payment?

d-Jam, thanks for your comment. I too believe in supporting Phil. I paid for the Master Class @ $269 USD. Just saying that I saw the program listed in an old post by Phil for free and then for $49 bucks. now I see it for $97 and to be honest think it’s a bit much for a 50 page ebook… As for the piercing question you asked, happens to millions everyday my friend. Peace…

    Excellent suggestion!
BTW, in my last reply “piercing” was supposed to be “pricing”. What a difference a letter or two makes! LoL!
    I’ll reach out to Phil…

I’ve had my eye on this one, and will be asking Phil about it. It seemed like a great deal at about $50, but I don’t think I’ll get it for $100 unless there were some additions to the course to make it more valuable. Kicking myself for not buying it already…..

Oh, forgot to mention to the OP, there is a wealth of great info on YouTube and just searching Google for wedding DJ specific info…. I did a lot of that before my first wedding last summer, I think that searching is part of how I found this site. Keep shining, and keep us posted!

Here is a great guide. The Practical Guide to Coordinating Your Wedding – Djhenrybaker …
    http://www.djhenrybaker.com/docs/Guide.pdf

It won’t take the place of “The Complete 21st Century Wedding DJ”, but it wil answer a lot of your questions.

If you do what is in this book (assuming you are not a highly succesful and very well paid wedding DJ already, in which case I’d still suggest the 100 bucks on this course), you are just about guaranteed to make that 100USD back with your next/first gig by a) getting it in the first place where you might have lost it before, b) getting paid more than a 100 bucks more than you would have otherwise and/or c) because you will be doing such a better job your gigs will start spewing out follow-up jobs you might have missed otherwise.

The masterclass was a joke at under 300 USD. I spent AT LEAST that for 4 1/2 hours of live teaching at my local DJ school. And, while fully worth my money and time, we covered maybe only an inch of what was in the masterclass. The Wedding DJ course (it doesn’t do it justice to just call it an e-book) is the same. From track suggestions to contract matters, from clothing to conducting intakes with (potential) customers from marketing to collaboration, it’s all there.

Personally I think the investment (if you are serious about being in the mobile/wedding DJ business) has a great ROI (Return On Invesment). Besides, I am guessing the 60-day cancellation policy is valid on this course too, meaning you run 0 (ZERO) risk if you decide it’s not worth the 100 bucks you paid for it.

    Just me, of course.

We’re actually remaking the wedding DJ course in the next few months and taking the book and web resources offline for new buyers… Michael ,the author, answers personally an awful lot of questions from buyers of the course so we are going to re-jig it into a “masterclass”-style course and it’ll cost many times the amount, so if you want the original “book” version (with support from Michael, and the follow-up web resources), grab it now.

Oh and by the way, our 60-day money back guarantee? We’ve extended it to 12 months. On all of our courses. No questions, with a smile. We know people love our stuff, and if you don’t it won’t cost you a penny. No interest at all in trying to hang on to people for whom our training isn’t a good fit πŸ™‚

I also have read the book and even though I already was DJing loads of weddings before I read it, it was well worth the read. Loads of cool tips and the “must have playlist” is really epic and works like a charm.

With the 12 months money back guarantee its no brainer, ( and with a Phil smile ?? no1 cant resist that !)
Heck you get that back from your upcoming first wedding gig anyway …
