Ok, first of all, you can’t download Traktor LE. It’s not a product that is available as a separate product. It’s an OEM product, meaning it is only supplied with selected controllers.
Second of all, LE versions of Traktor (or any software really) are usually (severely) limited, meaning you won’t get all out of your controller that you could. In the end you will be wanting to upgrade to the full software. LE software usually supports only the controller(s) it comes with and importing mappings for other controllers has been disabled. Which makes sense, right?
So there is no legal way of obtaining a copy of Traktor LE, other than that it comes with your controller. I don’t think you can make Traktor LE work nicely with non-supported controllers.
Finally Traktor is more and more focussing on the combination of their own hard- and software. Expect support for third-party hardware to wane even further in the up and coming years.
If you are certain that Traktor is the way for you, I’d be looking into getting full Traktor and mapping for your preferred hardware platfrom (i.e. Numark MTP2) or getting Native Instruments hardware.
If anybody can confirm that mapping non-supported controllers to the LE version is not possible, that would be valuable information.
