    Trust me, it is. I have a five year old laptop with a centrino 2 and 3GB Ram and running the same setup, plus a Kontrol X1 Mk2 and a Kontrol F1. It’ll be fine.

    so Serato Intro and the DJJ-SB will be fine as well?

    What you mean by that?

    Will it be fine for the computer? Sure. DJ software is a piece of cake for most PCs. If you’re worried about the SB killing your laptop, trust me it won’t. A USB port is only 5 volts and 2.1 amps MAX (that’s if you’re charging something). They’ve made USB fridges before to chill a can, so I think you’ll be fine. After all, all the USB power is doing is powering the lights!

    Unless I am mistaken, the DDJ-SB is USB-powered and that means that besides the LED lights it also powers the built-in soundcard and the headphone amp. Still won’t kill a nice MBA like that, but just saying 😀
