For me, i’ll grab first the mixtrack then buy USB sound card for cueing.
When i’ll have another budget i’ll grab the A2DJ =)

Um…I don’t get what you mean Mike.

When I looked at the ADJ2, there’s two outputs. One is for speakers…the other is for headphones. Both are stereo outputs.

In all actuality, when you go play gigs you should just hook up your sound card into an empty channel on the mixer in whatever DJ setup that’s there. I usually do that with my Xponent.

    something like this one

then on the settings of your software
use the default soundcard of your pc/laptop
and use the USB sound card for cueing.

sorry for the misunderstanding…what i meant was that the ADJ2 is only a soundcard whereas the mixtrack gives me control of the program.

AH…but the ADJ2 is the right choice in my book. It’s small and does the job well.

get the mixtrack for sure.. It’l just be maddening to have a soundcard for no reason. Im running the same setup and I had my mixtrack a few days before my card showed up. Just worked around it.

You should get your mixtrack first. You can still cue, just buy yourself a cheap sound card and configure your software to use both your laptop’s sound card and your USB sound card.

Done deal then. Looks like I’ll start off with the mixtrack and look for a cheap soundcard. Will probably order either today or tomorrow.

I have the Audio2DJ and can highly recommend it. So when you get round to buying a soundcard go for it, it is perfect for the out and about digital DJ.
