Most DJ mixers will still have phono inputs and a earthing terminal, so yes, you should be good to go there. Be sure to hook up the 1200s to the right connectors on the mixers (the ones that say phono) and that any switches on the back or top of the mixer that let you change a channel from phone to line and vice versa is also set correctly (in this case to phono).

I can’t imagine a mixer now that didn’t put in phono ports.

Many more fixed up those ports to switch between using phono or line-in devices. I’ve seen tiny switches on the back panels.

Thanks guys. Just wanted to be sure.

I might be new to DJing but back in my clubbing days (90s) I used to go to my local record shop in (Southend) and bought stacks of house and trance. I only had a crappy turntable then as could never afford Technics. Well, last week picked up a pair of 1200’s mk2 that are mint! Excited is an understatement 🙂 just need a mixer now….
