Well I do not have a mixtrack pro 2 handy, but as far as I remember it cannot route the mic connected to it to software can it?
You should see it in the routing options of VDJ Pro (note that only VDJ Pro has the routing functions you need, so any LE version will not work anyways).

If the mixtrack does not allow you to do this, then you might need a USB mic or USB soundcard with Mic input that you can route to VDJ.

Yes that’s what I read in the their web, when we broadcasting the mic sound won’t come along.
Do you know how to setup using the USB soundcard ?
Cause I’m not good with all the setting stuff 😀
    Thanks Terry

My advice would be to get a USB mic. Nowadays there are some very nice ones about (think Blue has a good one and there is an excellent one from Lewitt (there is a thread on it I posted in March, use the search function)). All depends on your budget and personal taste. It just plugs into your PC (might have to installed the supplied driver) or Mac (usually plug and play) and then you’ll have to tell your DJ software what input to use for the mic.

Manual or youtube movies should be able to help you with the routing in the software.

Sorry m8, I am no fan of VDJ (just personal preference) so can’t help you with settings there.

I’ve actually done this with the built-in mic input on my computer and my Mixtrack Pro. You have to go into the settings and under sound settings, under input, select Advanced Config. Add your controller’s out puts as audio channel 1&2 and your computer’s built in sound card as the microphone input. You may have to play around for which output will be headphones (mine was output 3&4). If it works I would recommend mapping a keyboard button to toggle_mic because it can get annoying if you leave it on accidentally.
