Hey there! Welcome to the forum.

That is by far the most asked question I’ve seen on here and the answers can be endless!

Have you checked out the free ‘HOW TO CHOOSE A DJ CONTROLLER’ guide on this site? That should answer most (if not all) of your questions. Ulimately it comes down to personal taste. You’ll find advocates for both of those controllers on this site. The best thing you can do it go to a DJ/Audio store that sells both and ask to try them. I suspect you’ll know pretty quickly which one is for you.

The active above is spot on. One of the points from the guide that I would like to bring out if that you should decide what software you would be using first as that would lean you towards which controller to get.

Yep, software first (which in turn depends on style of dj-ing, workflow, etx.), then budget, then available controllers then shortlist, then finding a shop and playing around with the controllers on your shortlist.

Let’s say you think Serato is da bomb, then buying an S4 won’t do you much good. And although you can map the S4 for other software, it really integrates well only with Traktor.

    Just my two cents.
