Got a backpack for controller thing ? and a hardcase controller thing ?
    Bring both !
Err of course be a safer bet to put your controller into your backpack and bring it aboard the plane with you, unless you have some kind of lock in your hardcase (which is of course naturally goes in the baggage), I still wouldnt put your controller in there anway, people be swinging them luggages left and right ya know

If you carry your controller in a soft bag, make sure you have one of those deck saver hard covers. It will protect your knobs and faders from getting smashed. The best would be a flightcase (guess where it got the name from 😉 ), but those will cost you a (lot) in extra luggage weight and are at best unwieldy to lug around on holiday.

    Thanks for the replies,
I’m going to carry a backpack and a roller hand luggage. Should I put my Controller and the wires in the roller? I mean it’s gonna be sitting in a pile of clothes and other soft stuff that should protect it from minors hits and shoves? Maybe bubble wrap? I’m at the point where I cant go and buy a separate hardcase for it.

Can’t even get a decksaver? All the clothes and stuff will protect it partially but at the same time press down on the faders for example.

I checked the Decksaver site. There isn’t one available for the Quad 🙁 they only make it for the mixtrack pro 2. Correct me if I’m wrong.

    Flightcase then.

He said that wasn’t an option (at this time anyway). It’s a pity, but bubble wrap could help some.

Anything below flight case did not work out for me ever…

Maybe put it in bubble wrap and the styrofoam in the original packing?
