You can set the 900s to work as controllers. No need for time-code. If you route the audio output for the channels controlled by the 900s back to the 900s, you can leave them hooked up to the mixer and use them that way.

Essentially you want to make sure your routing is correct for everything. I do know it’s possible to make Traktor work with more than one controller, I also know it’s not the most easy thing to do. Especially if you have no access to 900s to try out the setup with.

Ok so I hook up my laptop to the mixer via USB and set the mixer as audio card ( I guess I need a driver or no for Mac?), from there I set outputs I assume A to Channel 1/2, B to Channel 3/4, C to channel 1/2 and D to channel 3/4. Oh and set it to external mixing. My controller plug to the laptop and…That should do it?

No driver needed for Mac. But not quite the setup you describe.

Sorry, misread your original text. Thought you were playing with a set of CDJs not a DJM900 :-).

Then looking at your setup, yep you are right. Use the internal sound card on the 900 with the setup you described and you are good to go.
