Should I purchase Traktor Pro 2 or Traktor Scratch Pro 2 (software & timecode)

The reason this is confusing is because the software plus timecode kit is the exact same price as Traktor Pro 2 software, $99. I’m wondering if there is any disadvantage to purchasing software and timecode kit, like…maybe limited to only Traktor certified interfaces as it says. I know DVS doesn’t work on universal soundcards, but I want to know if TSP will still run, however.

I understand I don’t need the timecode. But it would be nice to have it around as an extra set for when I decide to get an Audio 10. My question is, does anyone know if the Timecode and Software Kit give you a full version of Traktor Pro 2 or if it’s just an upgrade license that unlocks DVS on Traktor certified devices?

It doesn’t really specify if the software is an upgrade, and it makes it confusing when it’s labelled “software and timecode kit”
