    Miami? 100 bucks per hour?
Just guessing here by my previous US gigs.

I think $100 is a fair rate too.

$100 an hour? Really? Maybe the DC area is hurt worse by under-cutting than Miami, but if you are a beginner or don’t have a good answer for the “what’s ur draw, bro?” question, but pay is a fraction of that here.

    Maybe I need to relocate…

I’d say at LEAST $50.00 an hour if you’re not using your own equipment. But try to score as high as possible.

IF they agreed on 100 dolla / hour dont forget to ask for your DJ compliments drinks also, because that should be excluding from your rate

6 hours is a looooong time without a free drink, just sayin lol

You guys! My first residency in 5-star hotels was 6 nights a week/6 hours a night. I did get free drinks though (and room and board in a 5-star hotel) LOL.

I wanted to ask the same question.
    but mine was different,

I got paid 450 GBP in 1984, plus (hotel)room and board. Not too shabby for a 21 year old kid.

Same good looks, just a bit older, heavier and more grey hair. What do you think?
