    Sennheiser HD201s
    They cost about 20 bucks.
    They are not stylish.
They are not what a DJ headphone of pros look like.

But they are cheap. I have literally 5 of them at home as “backup”. They have sound quality beating most if not all the headphones you listed. They isolate decently well (and better than most under 100 bucks) and they are loud enough for a club.

So my take is get 2 of those… if one breaks. Yes they do break, but they cost next to nothing to replace.
Then save up for some HD-25s or the new Nocs NS900

On the topic of headphones, has anyone had a chance to try the new HD7’s and/or HD8’s? I’m curious how well they isolate sound compared to the HD 25-II’s.

i found a local store` with the Reloop RHP-10 so i went in right away to test them. Even with the small-hole pads (i can’t describe it in another manner). I have to say that i was quite impressed. I think they ticked all the boxes of my wishes. The only downside i could notice is the fact that the bass didn’t lived up to my expectations. Is it commonly find at the rhp-10s??

your suggestion is appealing to me. For the HD 201. I’ll go test them too. 🙂

    djrizki…haha why such a reaction?

Well most serious DJs (except those getting paid to do so) do not use Beats, since they are a lifestyle thing and not DJ equipment.

The reloops are surely decent, I have a pair of their big brothers (RHP-20) and like them.

I tried the new HD7’s and 8s at the Dancefair in Utrecht last month. Pretty good isolation and Sennheiser sound/build quality. Not good enough for me to toss my HD25-IIs though. But if you like over-ear and are in the market for a pair of high-end cans, they will tick a few boxes for you.
