Nope. CDJ equipment is expensive, if you want to go there, then you have to shelf out 4k + of money for a setup. Else get a controller and be done with it.

i have a launchpad that i use, but i’d like a mixer to map effects. should i just get an external soundcard, and a budget mixer?

The closest you’re going to get at that price range is the Behringer DDM4000. I’ve never used one, It’s Behringer quality (not that great) but the reviews for it were actually pretty positive.

I will say, it has a very stupid position for the headphone jack I think I’ve ever seen though.

If you just want to map effects, what’s wrong with getting something like a Kontrol X1? Much cheaper then what you’re looking at right now.

i just want an abundance of knobs, and i know a mixer will give me that. also something with decent sound processing is necessary.

If you want something 900-like, but not for 900 money, the Denon X-1600 is worth a look. As others have said, can’t get anything near it in the 400 dollar price range though. You’d be looking at at least double that.
