I’d go for Cross, because I don’t think there’s any development in Deckadance anymore. Cross had a new major release just a few months ago. It also has some nice features that even the big guys have not incorporated yet.

Cross any day of the week. I have deckadance but there is no proper mapping for any of the controllers I owned at the time I got it and still no big controllers are supported. So I just gave totally up on it.
Cross I’ve only had about 1.5 year and it’s updated frequently with new futures and it’s not as future pack in unneeded bells and whistles as Deckadance but most of the extras you get in Deckadance are things you probable never ever will use in any of your sets. Cross has everything you need for a perfect DJ set + some and they constantly improve and add stuff that make you DJ sets better not just so crazy stuff that look good in a 5 min youtube routine.

I qualify Cross (DJ) as one of the big 4 these days, don’t think Deckadance belongs in that list, imho.

They are very active (version 2.4, 2.5, 2.6 and 3.0 all in the course of 1 year) in development. There is an iPad version, an iPad/iPhone remote and they have linux and android versions as well.

Obviously, whether the workflow suits you is a personal issue, we can’t make your mind up for you about that one 🙂 .

I’ve moved to Cross last year from Traktor and have never looked back.

yes DJ Vintage must be right!

Cross is a very good and easy to use program. Some functions are significantly easier to use than the tractor. (Use of samples), and so on. And for Cross is also to get a Behringer mapping.

Does anyone know when the new DVS package of 149 dollars for cross dj will be released? I really want to get this package. I already have a sound card, mixer, and two turntables just need some software.
