    Uhm … Mavericks works on a 2009 dual core? I never managed to get Mountain Lion installed on one. Apple have a bit of a habit of dropping older hardware support after a few years (it’s why sold mine and got a mid-2011 i5).

    Mavericks actually has less demanding requirements than Mountain Lion…
