Mixvibes CROSS software supports your controller and to full version is cheap compared to serato traktor and VDJ. There is also a free version.

Be aware that the FREE version of Cross DJ does NOT support controllers! It’s ment to be used on a PC to see how it works.

All LE/Intro versions of software are (severely) limited. Less or no FX, no recording option (that I know of), often the LE version is specifically linked to the controller you have. And more. Look at the comparison lists they all have and you can tell what is missing in the LE version.

I agree with Cross DJ being a good choice. It’s about the cheapest full version available. The guys at Mixvibes are building new features at a high rate. Your controller is natively supported (so plug and play). The software is full featured and a pleasure to work with (I use it for a year now). You can even upgrade to video in the future if you like.

In my humble opinion, the LE/Intro versions of software are useful only so you can unpack your controller and get started right away and to get your feet wet. VERY soon you will find the limitations. The moment you feel the limitations, the option should not be trying to find better free software, but to buy a full version of the software you prefer. DJ Software is an integral part of digital DJ-ing, not an afterthought to a controller.

So, save up, sweet talk your parents, run errands, deliver newspapers or whatever is needed to get the bucks to buy a full version of the software you like best (seems you tried most anyway).

    Greetinx.
