    My suggestion would be to check the signal chain to find out where the highs are going too far. Use your headphones in the house mixer to check the levels through the cue and master output from that- it could be a filter in the mixer or effects section that’s affecting the top end so check all that first (especially easy to overlook certain things if it’s a mixer you’re not used to). If that doesn’t work then see if the amps have been tampered with if you can; check the levels of those or ask the sound guy to help if there is one.

    thanks Phill , I will try to do that! here in Luxembourg most clubs acutally don’t have a Sound Guy so it’s a little bit more difficult, but I’ll try to get a friend who’s an engineer to come to the Party next time so if I get the same problem he checks the PA Equalizers.
