Frankly I think every piece of kit that allows you to do what the club expects you to do (namely rock the place, make the customers happy and keep them drinking) is club-ready. It says Pioneer, so that helps (however realistic that is isn’t relevant).

Sure the SB is ready. Just do not have overly long RCA cables and you are fine. But 99% you only need 0.5m of RCA cable to hook up to the house mixer.
The soundcard is excellent in the SB and thats about it…

good choice, and great advice above…. I would say you’re off to a good start, if I had it to do over again I would have picked the MC2000 over the Mixtrack Pro 2, and now that the SB is out, I’d be torn between the two of them. Keep us posted on how you like it, and your progress. I would say go for it, no reason you can’t plan pretty much any venue on that controller….. at least as I see it… just my $.02, but it’s only worth $.01, since I’m a NOOB and they keep printing US dollars like it’s the sunday press…. LOL Keep shining friends… Moonshadow

The DDJ SB definitely lets you do what the club expects you to do, the only fault I could really give it is not having two separate gain adjustments for each channel. The overall sound is managed by one knob that controls the master volume. Apart from that the Sound card is awesome with several input options for mics and headphones and the responsiveness of the pads are great !
