There’s no steeper learning curve between say the S4 and CDJ-style club gear than Pioneer Midi controller and CDJ-style club gear. Basically, it’s not hard to learn to use CDJs but you must learn manual beatmatching on your Midi controller in order to do so – and you can do that on any controller. FYI I got my Serato SL1 box for $200 (just look around)

If you are going to get an Itch controller, use it for ITCH! You are paying for a lifetime of free software rolled up into the price of the controller. To buy an itch controller to use as just something to map to Traktor would be a waste…
