    Bummer, this is a great idea and I even live in the Springs, but I’m in Texas now for school. How’s the edm scene up there? I was 100% into metal before I left so I know that that’s doing well (like the Black Sheep, etc.) but is there any decent electronic (assuming you’re an edm dj) and are you playing anywhere?

    Nah man I actually do hip hop at the moment. My EDM catalog is nearly nonexistent. I think eventually I’d like to branch off and take on other genres, but at the moment I’m going to stick with what I know. I’ve only been in the Springs for a few months so I’ve only hit up a few clubs (The Mansion, Blondies, Ritz, Sodos, Thirsty Parrot) They all seem to play mostly current pop songs. Blondies does play some EDM though. Right now my venue of choice is the bedroom lol. I’ve only been DJ’ing since December so I’m still getting my feet wet. Hoping to do local house parties and guest spot at a club eventually.

    That’s awesome man, best of luck to you. Yeah unfortunately I left the Springs before I was 21 so I can’t give you any insider tips on the club scene either. I started in December as well and have just been asking all over town until I find a place. I had my first gig at a bar last week and I’m dj-ing an art gallery this weekend. Just ask all over, club or not, and get your name out. Let me know where you end up!
