    We all start somewhere, you’ll need a soundcard also. My gear is the Behringer BCD3000 which is only $130 and much better than the Hercules, and it includes a soundcard. But well, you bought it, mix the crap out of it, and enjoy. My only gripe is the size but that’s just me.

    i think next time read a review of what your going to buy.I have never bought anything i didnt like or had no idea what size it was.Try a RMX ,nice size and nice metal case

    Yea i did all me research on this mixer but you know that every thing has that one little con that kno one tell you but as wat ive seen its a pretty good mixer except a sound card

    there isn’t much on offer in that price range but

    pro’s
    small
    led feedback
    every control you need

    con’s
    small
    hard buttons
    jogs not touch sensitive

    I definately wouldn’t recommend the behringer with vdj based on bad user experience on the vdj forum though, it is supposed to be okay in traktor… for a soundcard get an audio 2, should be able to pick one up for under $100. Although in the case of vdj you need pro to be able to use the soundcard.

    I found it on ebay any thoughts on it?

    You can probably hack that card to work with it but you’re making work for yourself. You’ll also need to check that your software lets you use a “real” soundcard. Or just get a splitter cable for now:
