Setup advice for new laptop

If you keep your music on an external drive, the VDJ database will also be on that drive so all your music data *should* transfer over seamlessly. The one big hitch is if your new computer tries to use a different drive letter than your old one (say F instead of E). If that does happen, you can go into the disk configuration utilities and force it to assign the same letter it used to, and then you’re back in business.
