It’s a great controller that I have tested out before, but I kind of decided against an all in one controller. I’ve been mixing and collecting dance music for over 15 years and I have Passion for the feel of a high end mixer (my dream mixer was a always vestax installation mixer with rotary faders, although I never managed to get one) and I’ve yet to use a complete controller that comes close the feel and sound quality of using a class mixer apart from the Allen and heath ones.

The other thing that puts off is that I have literally never seen a club dj useing a all in one controller. They always have 2 x1’s and use the club mixer.

I would suggest that you get 2xSC2000 a Denon X16000 or X1700 mixer and Traktor Pro SW
The X1600/X1700 has the best soundcard built in that I’ve ever heard (even better or as good as Pio DJM2000/DJM900)
Or if you can bare with 2 channels the X600. All mixers are Traktor certified so you will not need the traktor soundcard!
I tested one SC2000 together with the X600 mixer and the sound was outstanding (listned in my Genelec studiomonitors)
I would think you will get a better sound than the one in NIs soundcard but I have not listned to compare.
The NI 10 soundcard is 24bit Denon mixers are 32bit…..

The Denon mixers do look good. The problem I have is that I cant afford the outlay on a brand new mixer at the moment, which is why I was going to go for external soundcard. One big thing that attracts me to the NI card is the free Traktor Pro 2 (if I buy in the next day — offer runs out on 31st). If I buy the mixer later and make my soundcard obsolete, then at least I got a free software out of it.
