    Doing a house party with speakers costin $80-$90

    I take it you have an amp ? I’m sure you will find somthing that will suit your needs good luck .

    Save up, get a decent set of moniters/floorstanders. If you have an amp, even better.

    Go to the local thrift store and pick up some name brand speakers with any luck you could find some JBL L40’s like I did, even if the foam surrounds are bad salvage them. Foam surrounds are easy to install and would probably only be about $40. Or look for some in the trash like I did. I was just on my way to where ever it was just starting to drizzle and found in the trash some Realistic Mach One’s with bad surrounds, 15″ woofs and a 3×7 horn tweeter they now reside in my dining room with 230 watt yamaha Pro series amp 🙂

    Why change if you’re happy with what you’ve got? All you need is an adaptor cable.
