    I don’t know these, but I did have some Samson monitors a few years aback and I loved them. Sorry that probably isn’t much help!

    Phil, thanks for feeling sorry for me and commenting! I have now bought because they were on offer for £178. Initial reaction is they are a solid piece of kit, each speaker has its own amp and 75 + 25 watt of power. They are larger than I expected but should have know that 8in speakers would need a big cabinet. I will give them a go with my new Denon mc6000 when I get some time but should mean it’s party time in the Williams household.
