I enjoy the program. One of my major gripes is exactly what you said with the drifting of beatmatched tracks.
I love the artwork visuals and they also make a remote app (for iphone) that allows you to control the MAC/iPAD over wifi.

For more info check out Phil’s write-up (Mac and Ipad versions are very similar)

I love it for the reason you say – any time any place anywhere. They’re constantly improving it and those new FX rock.

I really like the app. I got started with digital DJ’ing last year with dJay. I’ve sinced moved on to Virtual DJ and am evaluating whether to migrate to Serato this year. I’ll probably continue to use dJay – I particularly like being completely portable, and i’ve managed to record 2 or 3 mixes i’m actually happy with on djay. There are a few features I wish it had, particularly visualizing stacked waveforms, and the ability to export saved cue points and loops.

If I could listen to music on my ipad w Djay and prepare tracks with cue points it would be very useful for when I do more serious mixing with one of the other software packages.

I love the setup, ultra portable, and very very cheap. It’s not as flexible or full featured as I’d like, but it’s getting the job done. I DJ saturday nights with the iPad app and the Numark iDJ live controller. As basic a setup as you can get. Paired with some nice headphones, it’s working for me.
I’m looking to grab the NS6 to expand my abilities and get practice on something more robust, but I totally see myself keeping this mobile setup for fun on the go.
Grab the Numark controller, some decent headphones (I grabbed the nice sony ones for under $100). You’ll spend under $200 and have a really fun, decently featured setup.
