    You would probably do alright with a mixtrack pro and serato.

    Yeah mixtrack pro and Serato is great for your sole purpose (no Virtual DJ or Traktor ), and for your budget err 200 dolla ? kind of (very) limited, maybe see if you can get the used gears? If you can get your hands on some used VCI 300 those are GREAT for scracthing, the sleek plate, and the crossfader is just so tite ! Check out some of the scathing performance with VCI 300 in Youtube

    I agree in that budget the mixtrack pro II has the best jogs to scratch on and Serato is really the tight software do pull any scratch off.

    On a second note please read our forum guidelines and delete your signature it does not follow our rules… or I have to delete all your posts, which I do not want to do…

    I ended up getting a Ionpro Sound ICUE3 Ion Discoverdj USB DJ Controller. Hope that works.

    I have one of those (collecting dust in its box) that i got for cheap when i was just starting and didn’t know better. It gets the job done with vdj and is better than a mouse and keyboard but still not exactly worth it.

    I got it and it seems to be about what I was looking for. It’s not perfect but it is better.

    I might change my mind after using it more but so far it works pretty good.
