You know, quite frankly, if your music selection is right and you can make the transitions happen with the gear you have, you are a pro in my book.
Pro’s are not defined by the fact that they roll in with two CDJ2000s and a DJM900, but guys that manage to make a few dollars by making others have a good time and making the venue they are in some extra money from extra drinks sold.
That’s the game amigo, nobody on the floor will care about your gear. And those that give you a hard time about your gear are either jealous (since you ARE playing and they are NOT) or have no clue what this job is all about.
I’d say, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!
