    Hey Caribyo,

    What part of Germany are you in?

    Welcome to the forums and thanks for this nice, long life story. Great introduction!

    I am really worried now that you might not like Cross (nah, not really, it’s great software). I’ve never played around with their hardware, so be sure to tell us your first impressions, ok?

    Actually I live in Nordrhein-Westfalen.

    I will give you some Feedback on that controller if I really decide to use it. Everybody says its great but I wonder if one can show up with the u-mix control 2 for a small performance (bar etc.) without beeing considered very unprofessional. But I am really convinced of its capabilities and price value, as the Cross DJ software is included.

    You know, quite frankly, if your music selection is right and you can make the transitions happen with the gear you have, you are a pro in my book.

    Pro’s are not defined by the fact that they roll in with two CDJ2000s and a DJM900, but guys that manage to make a few dollars by making others have a good time and making the venue they are in some extra money from extra drinks sold.

    That’s the game amigo, nobody on the floor will care about your gear. And those that give you a hard time about your gear are either jealous (since you ARE playing and they are NOT) or have no clue what this job is all about.

    I’d say, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!

    Rammstein – “Mein Herz Brennt”, its always my fall back anthem when I was down on my luck, it picks up my pace back up in an instant ! although I have no idea what is it about lol

    Hey and welcome! I am from Austria so we somewhat speak the same language 😉

    It is good to have a taste in many genres it broadens your horizon immensely and in the end makes you a better DJ.
