Apparently it has been around for a while. They talk about being the first featuring multi-channel audio on an iOS-compatible controller (no clue if that is true) and about iOS6 users (a station we have past quite a while ago now).
And so far it hasn’t rocked the DJ world, the fact that only now you bring it to our attention is proof positive to me of that.
Not only are Casio big in (electronic) watches, but they are pretty big in (low-end?) keyboards and other (semi)electronic instruments/toys. So the leap is not as big as it looks.
I have my iDJ Pro to go with DJAY (and other iOS software), but the video angle could be interesting if you are looking for that feature.
