The thing is wonderful actually.
You have to take this the other way around. My take on this is:
In the past (long time ago) I had 2 record shops in my hometown I visited every Monday (when shippings arrived) and I had to pay loads of money for vinyls where some of them were “so so” just to have enough new stuff for the crowd.
Now today I can browse through iTunes, beatport, hear internet radio etc. all day and fill my wishlist for the month. And at the end of the month I can go buy 10 songs for 99cents each and each and every one of those tracks is stunningly wonderful. And I do not consider those I did not buy “waste”, they just did not fit in. There are some amazing tracks I did not buy and I love to hear them on the radio, but I just do not need so many tracks in my collection… things are still wonderful without owning each track I think is kinda good…
