    What a pity you had your prio’s all messed up, after all: what famous DJ needs a car. You’d need a jet, but they generally come with two pilots so you can have a drink while you travel :D.

    Seriously though, welcome to the forums. You’ll find we are (as a whole) a friendly, if at times rowdy, bunch. And usually we come up with pretty constructive advice or comments.

    Obviously there are exceptions to the rule, you’ll recognize them by words as moderator or keymaster under their avatar :p. Especially this Terry_42 character and the old geezer DJ Vintage should not be taken too seriously.

    I think there is a recent thread (use the search function) about default mappings for Traktor for the DDJ SB (think even BY Traktor, but don’t hold me to that).

    <span style=”background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);”>my controller got delivered yesterday morning so I thought I’d have a play around on serato that was included, I don’t like it lol. The controller looks and feels brilliant but I think the software feels abit lacking compared to traktor. I found a basic map for traktor but the faders don’t work :/ and I can’t set them myself as whenever I try my brain turns to soup lol</span>

    Where did you go for mappings? I know there is at least one at Traktor Bible.

    Another place to check is at our colleagues from DJ Tech Tips.

    It’s the one from the traktor bible I have but the faders don’t work :/ and I just can’t get it to work for me, but there’s plenty of time  🙂

    I suggested you open a thread in the DJ Gear section with a title like “Help with Traktor mapping needed”.

    I know there are two or three people on here that are into that kind of thing. Hopefully they will get back to you.

    so i finished mapping the ddj sb to traktor and all was well until my laptop couldnt cope lol which is a shame and weird as the laptops got plenty power but…. so i might aswell get used to serato intro for now. all in all im having a blast with the controller and my neighbors hate me lol

    Beware that settings in Traktor are critical to quality. Especially buffers and latency settings can make or break the performance of the laptop.
