Hi and welcome! Sounds like a solid plan.

Maybe check out our more detailed video courses also.

@Terry_42 I am looking into those as well. For instance, I learned to program my controller a few days ago. The nerd inside me is really happy now 🙂

    Do you have any recommendations?

Well our basic course is here:

And I think to get the real basics down (how to count bars, songstructure, manual beatmatching and the first 6 most important transitions) it is hands down one of the best courses you can get. Plus it is really compact, you can learn this course a lesson a week, or take the challenge and do all of it in possibly 2 weeks with some practice and have the basics nailed on the spot.

From there you can go whatever catches your fancy. We also have a new Digital DJ Masterclass upcoming and from what I have seen it will be a winner!

I think that course is too expensive considering what you get and considering the books and other videos out there.

Well worth it in my opinion, but to each their own 😉

Of course you think it’s worth it, you’re the keymaster 😉

What I mean is that you can get the basics that are inside the course plus more that’s not in it for free using the free newsletter and the videos by ellaskins on youtube. Saves me €97 without pirating anything.
