    Hi and welcome! Wow they closed the good clubs in Tokyo???

    Darn there were some really cool clubs in Tokyo in the 90s…. I loved it there. But then I haven’t been to Japan in I guess 10 years, so prolly much is changed…

    Thanks. Yes sadly most of the clubs have closed. They always operated in a grey zone, for some reason they are bunched in with brothels according to the laws and the police were forced to start enforcing the laws. Some still operate but it’s risky for the owners, even DJs have been arrested for spinning past 12.

    Wow sad, I would have loved to spin some stuff in Japan again some time…

    There are still chances at large forums just outside of Tokyo which are not subject to the same laws.

    Ah OK so it is only Tokyo city? Well then, maybe I can get a booking sometime again…
