    Hi there!

     

    Good story, succes and “failure”  (I like to think of them as learning moments) can be back to back in the DJ business. Just keep slugging away at it and succes will prevail!

     

    By the way SF Yay area? Sure you don’t mean Bay, or am I missing something here?

    thanks for the welcomes, all. yes, there are no mistakes, only opportunities for improvement.  i’ve been playing drums for 32 years, teaching for ten. turns out digital djing works great as a rhythm training tool with my students.  they learn about counting beats, measures, phrases, sections,  and keeping time. plus they come up with some cool tricks and ideas at random that turn me on to new ideas as well. win-win!

     

    yes, SF Yay Area. it’s a term i coined. If you’ve been here you know why.
