I’ve seen some DJs when they hit some spots with a repeated blast of a synth they will quickly move the pan left to right and back to make the blasts jump around. This can also work if you turn the delay on to make a ping pong effect.

Another trick was some who do a scratch solo and they’ll slowly move the pan left to right to have the scratch travel around.
