    I love that mix! Buddy you are doing incredibly well and the mix has an energy to it that is unbelievably nice!
    You showed some really advanced skills there and I like that you have a theme underlining the mix.

    Thanks for the compliments! I’m hoping to make an extended version of this mix (probably ~30 min long) that keeps the themes. It would just be a normal mix though – no video.

    my brother dj’s, he has a mbp but he was going to copy his hardrive music to my hard drive but since im running
    windows we been having some format problems to transfer his music to my hard drive

    yes, is frustrating because now that i have my set up…I have no music 🙁
    i thought it was just a matter of copying his hardrive music to mine.

    Siiiiick! I am just at the point of starting out and I have to say, this was very inspiring!

    What kind of software do you use to mix? Do you have any recommendations about where to find good mixing tips? You really seem to have some seriously unreal skills! Congrats!!!

    Dayvue is sick! and he said is been 1 year sinse he started mixing.
    Hell of a good job!!!
    I used to dj like 20 years ago. then i got married, stop djing, had 2 kids, now that they are grown
    iam getting back in to it. some times i feel kinda los because all this new technolugy, but im sure
    with some help and people like all you guys i’ll be able to get back 🙂

    i think he is using Serato Itch
    i have the same system and that’s what i use

    aw shucks, I’ve still got a long way to go. My current goal is to get really good at recognizing song structure so I can mix in a song at almost any given point in a track. For this video I had to plan it out, but it CAN be done “on the run” with a good understanding of structure.

    Also, first club gig in my home city tomorrow night!
