I gradually go from 105 to 120 with breakbeat to house usually mixing a breakbeat song that’s 120 odds with one at 105 then gradually speed both up then get rid of the 120 one them i can add house and even increase speed from there, for me just have to use the right track. I mapped one of my encoders to the bpm too.

A good rule is the “50%” rule – move one song 50% towards the incoming one, making the BPM up once you’ve done the mix. So slowly speed a 110 up to 115, do your minx into a 120 (slowed down to 115), then slowly speed the 115 up to 120.

If you can, try to use a section of the track that has no beats or percussion to increase the tempo. I find it less noticeable that the tempo is changing. Most people won’t notice anyway.

And another thought . . . try to sequence your tracks so that go smoothly from slow to (relatively) fast. It will feel more professional than going slow – fast – slow – fast – slow – fast.
