I know this is a real letdown really… I sure hope Serato steps up their game soon. NI and Atomix are already again on the move… if Serato does not get their game together soon, I think it will end badly…. which is sad, as competition in such a small market is always nice for us users.

Kind of disagree here, I think Serato Intro is great at what it does (introduce) and ITCH is lovely… they just need the upgrade path now.

I prefer Serato over its competitors and I love my TM2. I just wish there was a upgrade option, all i want is a day mode toggle, some more effects and internal recording software. I find it astonishing that there are 12 dj intro controllers and only 7 itch controllers. If Serato gave us the option to upgrade to itch, for a price i think they would make a lot of money. Looking at the dj intro controllers i’m a little confused, why is the vci-400 an intro dj controller? when the vci-380 is a itch controller? Why has the Twitch got a itch licence, when there are controllers more expensive (and with better sound cards) with dj intro licences?
I’m not keen on traktor, using a tm2 I cant get complete kills unlike with serato and the sound quality isnt as good as serato in my opinion, but if serato doesn’t pull there finger out i will have use traktor!

I am totally with you. My nails are burning for an upgrade path. I love my TM4 and at the moment I am using VDJ Pro (I already had the license), but I would prefer using Itch for its sound quality and ease of use, excellent EQ and tight jogs.

However what I have seen from VDJ 8 so far, Serato better get their game together soon…. VDJ 8 could well be a killer.
I am also looking out for Phil’s Cross 2.0 review as Cross looks very promising also and the license is quite affordable if you do not need DVS.

I have email both Reloop and Serato but neither have replied, I am willing to sit tight for another 6 months but if there is no sort of upgrade or upgrade to itch option, then i will be forced to sell my beloved tm2 and and invest in a vci-380!
