ive just learnt that AAC files are 256kbps which is suprising. İve never played these out on a club system. What do they sound like? When İ say club system i dont mean a function One system, but something half decent.

ok now im really confused, my first ever AAC itunes download and traktor wont play it, apparently its corrupt, missing or DRM protected or an unsupported format. Mmmmmmm

I have no problem whatsoever playing iTunes songs in Traktor (or any current DJ software), are you running an old version?

Yes the iTunes AAC are 256k and since AAC has more “headroom compression” it is the same quality as 320k mp3 and more than sufficient to play in a club.

Hi Terry thanks for the reply, to be honest im getting various answers from all over the web. Maybe because im currently running Traktor LE although i only got it recently its Version 2.0.3. Maybe the file is DRM protected but like i said there are many reports of the same thing all over the web but its inconsistent. Can i burn them as CD audio tracks and then re-rip them?

As Terry stated above it should be decent enough. I always prefer to buy the MP3 version if possible as the sound is better in my opinion but there have been a bunch of songs i couldnt get anywhere but itunes.
