    Well usually the controller company can give you a download. If you lost the license key too, well that is really bad.
    Then you prolly need to buy a software or go with something free (if for e.g. Serato Intro is supported on your controller, you can download that).

    You should try downloading Mixx (http://www.mixxx.org/). It’s free.

    Good lesson here is always remember to register your software as soon as you get it. If you are registered you are able to download the software directly from the Atomix site – no disc required.

    Can I find the serial number in the software itself? Without the actual disc?

    Nope. You need the disc or label as far as I know.
    I use a spreadsheet at home that I backup for all my license keys… really saves trouble.

    I use something called LastPass to back up my 100s of passwords etc, it means you have them on every computer plus your phone.
