    Great post! I guess my iPhone (although that could be seen as a piece of DJ gear)… I use it as a third source in case the laptop crashes.

    + the light comes in handy in the darker booths

    A small roll of man’s best friend, gaffer tape.
    As someone once said, if the Phaeros had gaffer tape, the Sphinx would still have a nose.

    Just an iPod. Does the box for my S4 count? I’m really tall and I like to raise my equipment as much as I can.

    Well i guess it is DJ gear…but i use my Ipad with Lemur OS for more control over samples and Effects….its Teh SEX…

    Other than that…I use my iphone as well when i have to mix into someone doing straight vinyl.

    I have a great little LED goose neck lamp that plugs into the USB on my laptop and lights the whole booth. I also keep a few tracks on the Blackberry in case of emergency (and the handy-dandy flashlight app). And last but not least, gum. Don’t leave home without it! lol

    Roll of Velcro strips. Use them at work (networking) for cable management and they’re reusable. Also my Droid for multiple reasons. I rely heavily on my Shazzam app to remind me of songs I heard during the week that I want to play with, as well as the Brightest Flashlight app. Because, well, it’s REALLY friggin bright. Useful for finding inputs in a dark room.

    as mentioned before in a way.. some kind of torch, Ive got a app on the Blackberry for a torch which is soo handy in those dark corners looking for tracks
