What you need is a split cable, that will split the stereo out of the PC into 2 mono TRS connectors. So you can have your master sound on one channel and the headphones on the other. Through both will be mono in this setup.

Thanks for the help! Might as well go ahead and buy a sound card even though this is a cheaper option. Only reason I haven’t is because I haven’t done much playing outside of the house but it’d be nice to practice. Now if only my speakers at home didn’t suck.

You cannot do this within Traktor…only VDJ lets you split a sound source. Go grab a Traktor Audio 2…they are perfect for what you are looking for.

Well last I checked was Phil’s Article, for Traktor Pro it was this setting:

I hope NI did not remove that routing option? If they did please let me know, so I can make a note in my knowledgebase for reference.

The option is there but for traktor 2.1.3 or lower it doesnt work. I have not tried in 2.5 so they may have fixed it.

Thanks for the input mate, I did not know it was not working, since I always use Traktor with my Controller… When I have time I try to confirm if it is working I just upgraded my Traktor to 2.5.1 and need to give it a testrun anyways.
