    I remember Numark building really bad CDJ clones and having real bad build quality… they make excellent gear now, even in the lower price ranges. I remember Hercules Consoles that did not even hold up a week and now even the 80 bucks thing you can actually DJ on…

    Yeah kill buttons were pretty great! Unless they are switches and placed at the front of the mixer.

    I remember when you needed $1000 to get going as a DJ. Now you can do it for $100 (plus a computer) even if you just want to be a hobbyist.

    I’m not complaining. I honestly wish those options had existed back when I started.
