whats the best?

New Macbook Pro running Traktor 2.5 + Pioneer DJM-2000 + 4 CDJ-2000’s (running in advanced HID mode) + 2 Kontrol F1’s + Kontrol X1 + 2 x Technics SL1210 MK5G. Assuming money is of no concern. Obviously too many players for how many channels you’ve got but unlimited “pro” options.

I guess if I really had a big enough budget I would design my own controller from the ground up that is perfect

I wouldn’t go near any of the Pioneer controllers (at this stage). They’ve only been in the digital realm for a short time and whilst their controllers have that familiar Pioneer layout, features-wise they are like using a basic mixer and basic CDJ’s (whats the point of going digital if it doesn’t offer more + isn’t more compact?) and the build quality is similar to their entry level gear. I guess it would best suit people who are familiar with Pioneer and don’t wan’t to venture too far outside the box.
