How do you make your mixtape stand out?

If its only a 20 min mix then I would say your best bet is to cram as many tracks as you can (mixed flawlessly and intelligently of course). Have a varied playlist that showcases your sound and style. If you feel comfortable then throw in a few minimal effects but only a tiny bit. And most importantly…don’t mix any mix of Levels, Skrillex or otherwise.
